Step 2: Application Process

Interested persons may request the application from the website or by phone, or pick-up an application from either building location during normal business hours. If assistance is required for completion of the application, please contact the management office.

Only completed applications will be considered for admission. Incomplete applications will be returned noting the specific areas that need to be completed. All completed applications will be date stamped and reviewed to determine initial eligibility. Those deemed eligible will be placed on the appropriate waiting list(s), in order of receipt, and a letter sent to the applicant informing the family of this action.

As building vacancies occur, applicants will be contacted for an interview and to sign Release of Information forms so that screening and income verification can be conducted. A final determination of eligibility and appropriateness will be made subsequent to completion of the screening process.

If accepted for admission, the applicant will be contacted to schedule a move-in date, as well as a meeting to sign the lease and other necessary forms. If an application is rejected, the applicant will receive written notification of the action and reason for rejection. The applicant may appeal the decision, in writing, within 14 days from the date of the letter.

A complete copy of the Tenant Selection Plan is available in the management office and may be viewed during regular office hours.
